[02:09:14]<sunoano>pacopablo: hi, a week or so ago, I told you about the script to create repos with gitosis automatically http://gitweb.dolmen-project.org/misc.git/blob/HEAD:/create_repo.py
[02:09:45]<sunoano>you have to adapt the URLs of course; and line 85 i.e. members
[02:09:55]<sunoano>it's not very generic yet but ... well :)
[02:11:41]<sunoano>what it does basically is run the commands seen in the notes section, one after the other ... that stuff you usually have to do manually
[02:12:49]<sunoano>./create_repo.py iam_a_repo.git would create the repo iam_a_repo.git on the server running gitosis

[05:31:55]<exarkun>I added some prints to sqlite_backend.py and sometimes they end up in my htpasswd file. What the heck?
[05:49:59]<mndar>i've installed trac 0.10.5 and its git plugin
[05:50:09]<mndar>i set the repo type and path in trac.init
[05:50:55]<mndar>but when i go 'browse source', it doesn't list any of the files in the repository. it doesn't give any errors either. i checked the interface as well as the trac log
[05:51:02]<mndar>what could be going wrong ?

[06:02:38]<oneg>what is the preferred way of including JQuery-UI in trac plugin?

[07:37:02]<hap->hi
[07:37:43]<hap->a user of mine requested a new password to trac and he or she logs in with the new password but it tries to then redirect them to /prefs/account - when this happens i get this problem: Redirect Loop
[07:37:55]<hap->Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked.
[07:37:58]<hap->sorry about those empty lines

[07:51:59]<jevans>hap-: hit that with one of my users a bit ago
[07:52:01]<jevans>If you're using AccountManagerPlugin, there's a 'force_passwd_change' (after reset) setting we turned off
[07:52:03]<jevans>Also had to edit the session_attribute table to remove an entry causing the redirect - unfortunately I don't remember the name but you should recognize it when you see it.
[07:52:35]<hap->hmm i'll have a look
[07:53:03]<hap->i can't seem to be able to modify my sqlite tables using firefox sqlite manager though - i keep getting access denied errors
[07:54:06]<jevans>that's what we use
[07:54:08]<jevans>you have access & permissions?
[07:54:58]<hap->well im administrator
[07:55:00]<hap->yes
[07:55:03]<hap->i thought so
[07:55:42]<hap->force_passwd_change = false
[07:56:04]<hap->i've added that to [account-manager] in my global inherited trac.ini
[07:56:28]<jevans>maybe check if that's enough but I'm sure we had to edit the table
[07:57:14]<hap->yah i am just trying to see if i reset the password again that might remove it
[08:04:40]<hap->i think i got it
[08:04:46]<hap->i just launched firefox from the shell as root
[08:05:07]<hap->removed those rows as suggested
[08:05:10]<hap->now just trying
[08:13:24]<hap->hey that's the trick!
[08:13:27]<hap->thanks a lot jevans
[08:14:18]<jevans>welcome
[08:17:00]<hap->seagulls are in mighty far today
[08:17:06]<hap->i guess that means its going to storm later
[08:19:29]<jevans>I had a window once...
[08:19:35]<hap->hehe
[08:19:46]<hap->lots of windows but mostly brick walls
[08:19:50]<hap->i can see the sky though

[09:06:08]<retracile>rblank: nice :)
[09:07:55]<retracile>"running Trac under QEMU is slow" -- cboos owes me a keyboard.
[09:07:58]<retracile>;)
[09:09:04]<retracile>rblank: I'd like to see the 'restrict_owner' issue fixed, rather than having to advise people to turn it off for large installations. :/
[09:09:36]<retracile>But I'm glad to see cboos is paying attention to the performance -- that means something might get done about it. :)

[10:03:11]<rblank>retracile: Part of the restrict_owner issue has already been fixed, as ticket fields are now cached. I'm not sure if there are other issues about it, though.
[10:03:48]<retracile>rblank: hm. it isn't an issue that has bit me personally, so I haven't pursued it.

[13:51:41]<fission61>i need have a wikiMacro python code and its calling a bashscript, the bashscript is returning an 'ls' efficlety, the pythopn scrip runs find when i remove def execute and run it as a script but its not working when i run it as a plugin through wiki, which makes me believe return output is choking on the returned strings, newlines or something

[14:40:37]<yassine>hi everyone
[14:40:46]<yassine>anyone can help with this please? : http://pastebin.com/d4353fbd5
[15:08:37]<yassine>coderanger__, any clue how to solve the above please?
[15:16:39]<langzeitstudent_>yassine, can you be a bit more specific? like.. when did this happen? during initenv? at runtime?
[15:17:02]<yassine>langzeitstudent_, sure
[15:18:13]<yassine>langzeitstudent_, when i try to access the app from apache, and log in i t happens and once it happens the first time i can do what i want nothing helps only an apache restart helps
[15:20:52]<langzeitstudent_>Hmm i'm not really sure, but "If you're using multiple .wsgi files (for example one per Trac environment) you must not use os.environ['TRAC_ENV'] to set the path to the Trac environment"
[15:21:25]<yassine>no i have a single instance
[15:22:31]<langzeitstudent_>sure but your paste says "already extracted".. and that note mentions something like that
[15:22:59]<langzeitstudent_>but granted, i have no idea about wsgi :P
[15:24:05]<yassine>me neither i only used it since its suggested in the trac wiki :)
[15:24:18]<langzeitstudent_>but i guess it might also happen if you played around a little with initenv
[15:26:07]<langzeitstudent_>do you use the accountmanager plugin by any chance? only result oogle gave me xD
[15:27:11]<yassine>langzeitstudent_, yes but afaik, i have seen that page related to accountmanager plugin which points out the problem is a trac problem more than its a plugins problem
[15:28:21]<langzeitstudent_>so have you tried to disable that plugin?
[15:30:49]<langzeitstudent_>but anyway, if its more than some configuration issues then i'm the wrong guy to talk to.. happily using mod_python only :p
[15:35:23]<yassine>i should have stick to mod_python too
[15:35:29]<yassine>but now its late for that
[15:38:37]<langzeitstudent_>well, if you where using windows i'd say "format c: to the rescue" xD
[15:39:31]<langzeitstudent_>but is your trac already on a work/deploy system?
[15:39:52]<langzeitstudent_>like.. you know, tickets already in there etc.
