[02:05:07.407645]<groton>how to fix this? TemplateNotFound: Template "verify_email.txt" not found I would like to remove this template
[02:07:52.954032]<otaku42>groton: if you remove a template without fixing the code that tries to use it, and you use that code, you will end up with such an error message.
[02:08:53.978270]<otaku42>groton: read: do not remove stuff unless you know what you're doing
[02:13:44.404276]<groton>otaku42, how to disable that template?
[02:14:13.192076]<groton>otaku42, if you noticed, the error says that the template is not present, so there is not need to remove anything. I have not removed it, I just activated it.
[02:20:07.078489]<groton>otaku42, i fixed the issue upgrading to 0.11.6

[03:29:55.884997]<rethus>http://isp-control.net/ispcp/wiki/docs/de/install/installation
[03:30:03.583012]<rethus>debian lenny is my new createt link
[03:33:20.332060]<rethus>anyone an idea
[03:38:25.310293]<bionoid>rethus huh? This link points to a page in your wiki? Just open it in browser, ie http://site/wiki/name/of/new/page
[03:43:25.617506]<rethus>no, got errorpage.
[03:43:31.493054]<rethus>have solve it on other way
[03:43:40.796392]<rethus>i go to an existing page... and go to edit

[03:44:19.143471]<rethus>that workd
[03:59:54.909190]<bionoid>Oh, hm normally it should come up with an empty page and a button to edit it. But any way that works is a good way ;-)
[04:58:07.621406]<gozerbot>trac: Ticket #9139 (AttributeError: 'TracError' object has no attribute 'acctmgr') closed - <http://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/9139#comment:1> || Ticket #9139 (AttributeError: 'TracError' object has no attribute 'acctmgr') created - <http://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/9139>
[07:26:23.130897]<Tu13es>can I get a VM running Trac without paying $149 for the jumpbox one?
[07:33:49.834549]<bionoid>I can make one for $148 ;-)
[07:34:57.319748]<Tu13es>:P
[07:35:01.931540]<Tu13es>I think I found a couple, maybe
[07:36:49.629597]<bionoid>Tu13es It's not that hard to install Trac anyway, if you have some basic *nix experience you'll have it up in no time.
[07:37:23.100404]<Tu13es>yeah, i'm mostly just looking to demo it first
[07:37:47.111472]<Tu13es>i also don't have a system immediately handy i can install it on, but i do have a couple i can run a VM on
[07:39:08.048060]<bionoid>You can set it up on your windows box :p
[07:44:30.374898]<osimons>Tu13es: never tried it, but something like http://bitnami.org/stack/trac i think are meant to be "disposable" without interfering with the rest of your setup
[07:44:47.100818]<Tu13es>yep, that's one I'm grabbing now
[07:44:49.565476]<osimons>oh. got virtual machines too
[07:44:51.646463]<Tu13es>also getting a turnkey linux one
[08:44:54.373067]<Tu13es>hm, trying to install a plugin and whenever I run easy_install I get: -bash:/opt/bitnami/trac/bin/easy_install: /bitnami/tracstack-linux/output/python/bin/python: bad interpreter: No such file or directory
[08:44:58.637820]<Tu13es>any ideas how to fix this?
[09:21:49.757493]<coderanger_>Tu13es: Fix the shebang at the top of the easy_install script
[09:22:01.753556]<coderanger_>and tell bitnami they need to rewrite it during packaging
[09:22:07.060406]<Tu13es>hmm
[09:22:27.180720]<Tu13es>lunchtime, will have a look in a bit
[10:54:56.335838]<Tu13es>grr
[10:55:01.664768]<Tu13es>tried a different VM and I get:
[10:55:10.546751]<Tu13es>error: Unexpected HTML page found at http://trac-hacks.org/svn/accountmanagerplugin/0.11
[11:58:07.246158]<gozerbot>trac: SeaChange/WhatUsersWant edited - <http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/SeaChange/WhatUsersWant?version=117>
[14:34:29.825115]<dfas>when is 0.12 expected to be released?
[14:35:08.685024]<rblank>dfas: Don't ask
[14:36:04.507577]<dfas>the remaining bugs are very minor though right?
[14:37:22.555119]<retracile>rblank: heh. We'll get there. :)
[14:37:46.225257]<rblank>dfas: Yes, they are. Still, don't ask :)
[14:37:49.361108]<rblank>retracile!

[16:53:19.572952]<slango>is there a way to close a ticket from a commit message built in?
[16:53:40.403721]<slango>or associate a commit with a ticket?
[16:58:02.449058]<retracile>slango: not built-in, but there is a plugin on trac-hacks that can do that.
[16:58:27.808227]<slango>are the plugins on trac-hacks mostly pretty worthwhile?
[16:59:32.054085]<retracile>slango: many are, though there are some that are lower quality or out of date, etc.
[17:00:11.857776]<retracile>slango: AccountManagerPlugin is _very_ widely used.
[17:01:07.424343]<retracile>slango: I think you want to look for "email2trac", IIRC.
[17:05:54.722564]*rblank -> bed
[17:07:21.885097]<retracile>rblank: have a good night
[17:10:44.520531]<rafaelmartins>hi
[17:12:11.217175]<rafaelmartins>some trac release already have multirepos support? or only the svn trunk?
[17:12:29.884366]<retracile>rafaelmartins: just trunk
[17:12:54.005247]<rafaelmartins>retracile, hmm... thanks
[17:17:10.777345]<yojimbo-san>A new Trac install is acting oddly ... when I set it up, I was using a host name in my local /etc/hosts; now it should be using a proper DNS name. However, when I POST to the login page (AccountManagerPlugin) I get a 303 redirect to the original private hostname, not the DNS name. I can't see this old name anywhere in the configs so far; can someone please give me pointers about where I should be looking for it?
[17:17:43.362725]<yojimbo-san>Oh, trac 0.11.1-2.1 :-)
[17:35:21.727799]<exarkun>Why does the cc field render as a text field for me and a checkbox for most of my users?
[17:36:19.579358]<retracile>exarkun: TICKET_EDIT_CC (or something like that) permission
[17:39:27.731860]<exarkun>Ah, of course, some permission.
[17:39:49.605019]<exarkun>And when the checkbox gets checked, the user's email address is added to the cc field
[17:39:59.328702]<retracile>exarkun: right
[17:40:00.434087]<exarkun>Is there a way to configure it so that their user name is added insteaD?
[17:51:41.527244]<retracile>exarkun: hm. If they're logged in as a user with their email address configured, does it not add their username
[17:51:42.958701]<retracile>?
[17:53:47.092392]<exarkun>retracile: It appears not to. Instead it adds their email address.
[17:53:47.337106]<jojosiao>hi i just installed trac on my ubuntu 9.10 dual boot machine. is there a way I can successfully run trac + svn under apache 2.2?
[17:55:05.077681]<retracile>exarkun: Hrm. Well, I don't know of a config option for that. Sounds like a reasonable enhancement to request.
[17:55:21.955715]<retracile>jojosiao: yes.
[17:56:47.104245]<jojosiao>retracile: i tried modpython using location directive but it doesn't load css.
[17:57:37.835370]<retracile>jojosiao: pastebin your apache config
[17:58:01.843574]<osimons>@wiki TracModPython
[17:58:01.848563]<evil_twin>http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracModPython
[17:58:04.555513]<jojosiao>retracile: i just copied the config on trac wiki
[17:58:08.755329]<gozerbot>no result found
[17:59:08.985703]<exarkun>retracile: Looks like someone filed it :) #8681
[17:59:26.841469]<jojosiao>retracile: i got it working now!
[17:59:40.263619]<jojosiao>retracile: using .htaccess!
[17:59:57.909546]<retracile>jojosiao: glad to hear it :)
[18:00:03.555373]<retracile>exarkun: heh. :)
[18:00:10.311145]<jojosiao>retracile: though i still have to test it
